I found it similar to the NREMT, but it's been 3 1/2 years since I've taken it.

We always tell people that they need to renumber their address to make it more visible. As long as they know you are acting in their best interest, they don't get mad. Don't know if anyone has actually renumbered their address or not, but its worth a shot.

Ahh come on ;). I had my first(and hopefully only) field delivery about 2 months ago. It was her 5th kid, so all I did was prevent him from being shot out the back door. I tried to get it to count as my L&D clinical but it didn't work <_<

I would have sent a police officer to go find the driver, that way he/she can deal with the fact that they basically "ran" from the scene.

The thing that I think fails most people is checking PMS. Make sure you check it before and after splinting.

Yeah. I'm not trying to make you jealous, I'm excited about it cause I have a lot of stuff that can help pay for. I don't know anyone who actually stayed the full 2 years afterwards. Plus I don't know anyone that they made pay them back either. Also I've already been with them for 3 years now...

Yeah I didn't pick a good time of year. I put my NR# on my app to the state hoping that would help. I will definitely fax a copy of the page though.

Not to burst your bubble but I've known Paula for quite a while and we are practically neighbors. Lol. Yeah your right about the raise but I do get a $1000 bonus for upgrading my cert!!!! Just got to wait on the great state of Texas to show online that I'm a medic.

I think you handled it as well as you could. Not much anyone can do for the patient in the field. Just try and make them as comfortable as possible.

Passed the Medic test with 83 questions on my first try!!! Mine was lots of Trauma, which was my weakest area when I took practice tests.

Well I haven't been on here in forever thanks to medic school, but I'm done and I passed my National Registry on the first try!!!!!!
