Again, I reiterate the question: where's the connection between EMS and HAM users, or EMS and motorcycles? Isn't a lounge for off-topic conversation? I seem to have been mislead my entire life that a break room was for off-topic conversation.

Edmonton EMS has a unit-to-dispatch link as well. They do live updates and digital PCRs through the system, as well as use it as a GPS (accurate to within 5 meters).
