I just obtained my medic and have been searching around for jobs. I am open to going up to hall or even American up in Fresno, or AMR in riverside/ San Bernardino but I also keep coming across job openings for ALS IFT medics in orange and Los Angeles county that pay $24-30 starting. I can't...
As long as you show up and read/study the book/notes you will be okay. Like everyone else said, it’s not to comprehensive and just dives into basic emergency medicine principles and topics.
Hmmm idk much about Ventura. All I know is gold cross is there which is AMR affiliate. AMR is there and lifeline EMS which I heard runs ojai and surrounding areas. I am curious myself since I’m almost done with medic school and looking at possible places to work/apply.
Anything abnormal. From STEMI to NSTEMi, to bundle branch blocks, ectopi, AV blocks, Accessory bypass tracks and so on. You will learn it all in school. I work my way around so I look at 1 and AVL , 2/3/avf. Then V1-v6
I did medic school and work full time. It is tiring as hellll but you gotta do what you got to do 🤷🏼♂️ I’m about to finish. Did clinicals on days off and field time I took off a month from work to complete.

Adulting is a pain in the *** though haha.
I don’t have cable and went with jut WiFi and watch...
Pocketprep is good. I always just go through my notes from medic school. Do one notebook every week or so. Podcasts are also great. EMbasic or emcrit are my favorite. There made for ER doctors but a lot of good info
Not sure about Georgia but indeed.com always has good postings. You can check the emplacement board here on the forums also.
I Passed by the local ER and watched what ambulances showed up to find places I didn't know about/though of applying to 🤷🏼♂️
