I would tell the nurse and let it be cuz the only person that can call the family in that situation is the doctor or the nurse unless you are asked to call them by the doctor or the nurse.

The EMT training isnt a bad thing to have if you go into the air force or coast guard but the best thing to do is get your EMT schooling first before you go into the military cuz otherwise you are gonna end up being weighed way down with all the classes you will be taking while at the academy.

Easiest thing to do is just stay on station while you are on duty.

I do admit that you are right and Im not gonna argue it. Ive done it but Ive only done it at certain times and also have slowed down at the intersections and looked around to make sure there was no traffic before proceeding through it.
