I loved the Col. Potter quote. Possibly one of my favourite MASH characters... what a great show.

It's only a wonderful portion if you don't mind never having had a birthday party or like the phrase "This is for your birthday AND Christmas!". About the age of 10, I learned to respond to the latter with "No, this is because you're too cheap to buy a gift for each event" Other than that, I agree....I like having a birthday in the winter.
