Sorry to hear so many people have problems with dispatchers. In our area we have awsome dispatchers. They can dispatch the call cover them answer everyone while makeing phone calls for police, and fire to tow trucks, electric providers and so much more.

i wish that we got this kind of training or any training at all really. we had to take the evoc which is five min of driveing around a parking lot three times. And our ambulance com gave us no training or anything we were just expected to get in and go. I did an ambulance transport to philly...

I have been looking for a purple trauma bag as well but havent been able to fine any. I finally settled on an orange one. I dont care to much for the ped ones.

I work for a private ambulance service as well and I love it.

This goes to show that its never to early to teach your kids about who it is safe to talk to and who it isnt when they need help. I wish more parents would do this.

We have a weelchair service as well as a 911 and standby service. Sorry if i didnt clarify that before.

As it says i have my first job with a private amb comp. I do mostly weelchair transports right now cause id ont have my EMT yet but my boss is getting me into an evoc class and bridge course for my EMT. Then I will be able to do 911 calls and standbys. I cant wait.

Well all passed my first responder and am on to my emt in aug if the class runs this time.:)
