We dont really have a confined space rescue team. EVERYONE that works there is a member of the rescue team. Just like EVERYONE is a member of the firefighting team.
This same thread is over on JEMSconnect. If you do the math, it works out to be ABOUT .00086 % of the TOTAL number of medics and EMT's working today. A really small percentage. I DO NOT condone the actions there people are accused of.. and the important word here is ACCUSED. Just making a comment
They actually tried to pass a "Seatbelts on Motorcycle" law here in Colorado.... it made it about 5 minutes then went away.
I feel "Let those who ride decide" and as far as taking away my cert for not wearing it... I think not
After an almost 15 year "hiatus" I have decided to get back in. My work is sending me to class starting in February. I work at an underground coal mine. Glad to be getting back into EMS... i have missed it!!!
Ive been lucky I guess.... Ive never had any really long transfers. Blessing of living in a Metro area. Now that I am living in a rural area and the "big hospital" is 45 minutes away... that may change.
