biggest thing that draws me to wake? They give you options besides spending the next 30 years on an ambulance.

I visited the area twice.... it's nice. they have a good PR machine (yes, this is a good thing), and they have a medical director who is really active. competition is tough to get hired; the biggest advantage i see if if you get hired by wake and find yourself bored or unhappy, you can apply to another county department and your sick and vacation time come with you. x
