I am on a 12 hours today. What's about you?

48 hrs straight, 5 days off; normal workweek for me. Of course we average 1 run a shift, and they are not all EMS runs.

I'm on my week off. Interview today and Friday though for PRN fixed wing jobs

12.5 just started, training new guy.

Nice! Keeping busy.

I am on day 14 of my 14 day rotation. I work 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. Or 2 weeks on 1 week off.,.,12 hours on 12 on call. I have an 8 hour flight home tomorrow. Spending my days off in Boston. visiting the in laws.

Getting that OT today

On duty tomorrow. Supposed to be really hot and really windy. Should be fun.

Supposed to be 106 tomorrow with gusts up to 65mph.

The nice thing about our division is if our AC in the ambulance doesn't work then that unit is out of service until it gets fixed.

well. it "worked" but the outside heat just over powered it..

Dude... You literally live in a furnace [emoji26]

The humidity makes it much worse.

Luckily we don't get humidity (plus about being in the desert). But temps for us during the summer easily get to 120.

Yes. You. Not that it doesn't get hot as hell here, but we don't have the coastal winds like that [emoji21] Just the high humidity...

Haha. I think our average rainfall per year is less than an inch haha.

The wind sucks badly when we are up by the freeway. It's all sand so we get brown out conditions and working a call by the freeway actually hurts. You get a nice sandblast. I've had sand in places sand should never be.

Just got off a 12 hour shift with zero calls!:o
