So I did my pre-employment testing yesterday, and I passed everything. I can't walk or move my arms today, but it looks like I'll be getting the call to go to the academy!!! I'm SO excited, I've been waiting so long to do this! Now I just wish I could move so we could celebrate...

LOL Princess, there's always a way around that, done did it already. I almost went to the pool, I thought it would help, I took some Naproxen but there's no way I'll make the walk. :sad: I can't even sit down or light a ciggarette without wincing.
The academy isn't really an academy, it's a week and they do water rescue training, EVOC, a few other things and go over all the rules of the job with us. They aren't really forthcoming with the details so that's all I know from speaking with other medics. I don't have much interest in being FF, it's just not my thing, but I haven't eliminated the option yet. I want to get my AS degree first.
WHKR...ok so it's always in the gutter, but he said Too much Info...that usually only means one thing.
