Hello everybody,

I just have a question about what to study for the National Registry Exam. NREMT.org acknowledges that there are study guides, but it does not specify any in particular. I used the jblearning site and the limmer connect app in order to study for the HESI exam, but from what I hear, the questions are posed differently than most other exams (lack of vitals and such). Does anyone have any suggestions other than re-reading? It's been about 3 weeks since I have taken the HESI exam and studied at all.

*I scored very well on the HESI exam, but that was very straight forward. The lack of study questions for the NREMT exam is what makes me nervous.

There is not just a couple of things to study for the NREMT. It covers everything from OB to EMS operations and everything in between.

Know the order of patient assessment, and where everything fits into it. When given multiple correct answer options, know (and select) which comes first.

Don't focus on what others say they had a lot of. It is completely individual. The guy immediately before you may have had tons of medical emergency questions, and you'll have the minimum needed to pass. It seems like (and makes sense considering how the test works) people tend to get more questions in the areas they aren't doing too well on. You need to focus on all of the topics, because failing even one topic will fail your whole test. Keep up with JB Learning and go back per all of the subjects.
