Hello all,

I know you can work as an EMT or an ER technician with an EMT-B certification. Are there any other jobs that EMT-B certification allows you to be eligible for? I've read that you can work as a CNA or urgent care technician as well...

I've tried applying at one or two medical assisting jobs without success. They don't seem to care if you have the official MA certs (?) if you have a college degree or experience. I'm sure you could easily get a job as a scribe as well, but apparently it's minimum wage and terrible working conditions.

Pretty sure you have to be a certified CNA to work as one in a hospital, but you could probably get in at some facilities without that (again terrible pay/min wage and terrible working conditions). From what I've seen ER techs want a minimum of 6 months experience. The ones I met during clinicals were all paramedics with years on the job.
