OK, another post I made got me thinking about the "old days" of the 90s.
.) Gas was 70 cents/gallon (my mom has proof, we have a photo of my parents infront of a gas station)
.) We did not know who George W. Bush was, nor did we care.
.) you could have fun being a kid and not get labled as a no-good lazy bum.
.) Cars were made better and cheaper then.
.) I just miss my grade school friends in general.
.) Coke tasted better then.
.) Coke costed just 45 cents when I was in kindergarten. Now the same size can costs a dollar.
.) Bill Clinton was president and our economy was growing, the world was at peace, and prices were reasonable, although the politician was not noble.
.) They had cooler toys in the 90s (the REAL Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
.) Real men could wear mullets and not get labeled as fruity.
.) I really enjoyed playing in the haybarn at my grandparents, and it was cool then to sit in the haybard and scare the piss out of the younger cousins.
.) You could collect stuffed animals at 16 and not get labeled as a big baby (those beany babies)
.) Internet was more fun then because it was so new.
.) Playing the ORIGINAL Oregon Trail Game on the Apple Macs in the school computer lab.
.) They had the best saturday morning cartoons then.
Add your own no matter what decade you were born in.
