I left Wednesday, after much procrastination throughout the day. Had to get gas. Oh, had to check the oil in my car. Oh wait...Need a drink. Almost ready, have to have a snack. Stopped at every rest stop.

But...I went.

Thursday morning, at 0745 I could not believe my legs actually worked. I was there, sitting in the chair, waiting for candidate instruction.

Yep. FINALLY! I took my NR!!!!

And, you know, it wasn't NEARLY as hard as any of the practice tests I had been taking!

However, somewhere along the way I miss, and even still now cannot find, what the "minimum indicated WEIGHT for the use of an AED is"

I only recall discussing age issues, never weight.

It's trickier than it sounds. I think you'll be suprised at the results. They want the best textbook answer, not the answer you would probably use in the street.

You were probably better off taking it right out of Basic School, because you haven't built any bad habits, like using nitro to control hypertension. :)

Congratulations!!! it's about damn time!!!

You did fine, I had a hard time with my application so didn't take the test until 5 months out of EMT school, and I passed. Let us know as soon as you find out!!!!

I dunno if I'd call that a bad habit... more like breaking protocols in most places. ;)

That's why I had the smiley...It's a good habit, and it should be protocol everywhere...BUT..For now...They had...umm.. "chest pain."

Thanks Chimpie. I am pretty sure that was the S.W.A.G I chose.

Probably, but 3 tropical storms and one Cat 3 Hurricane that took out my house sort of delayed my chances at taking it.

Thanks Wingnut. I am now doing the "Check the website everyday just in case my group is the one they put the results online real quick like" routine.
