So does anyone know of an agency hiring? I live in King County and looking to work anywhere. Also, would volunteer as a medic if anyone knows of a place to volunteer. I graduated medic school in 2010 and have been searching for a job ever since. I need at least 6 months of employment/volunteer service to renew my cert. Thanks for the help!

ALS in Yakima just tested, you might try AMR in Spokane. I have a friend that works there and he says that they hire somewhat frequently. Unfortunately, there is little turnover at the fire departments so many private companies are not hiring either.

Key Peninsula Fire District 13 takes volunteers as well as Browns Point FD.

Try the Seattle area, Olympia is also hiring. AMR isn't hiring from what the website says, I myself am trying to get a job as a EMT-B in Washington and the job market is very small... I did see paramedic openings were more abundant.
