How long does it take for a director to verify that the student has passed the course and practical exam? I've met the requirements am I supposed to email the director of the course myself? I applied for NREMT exam on the 5th and the status is still " Verification Request Submitted". The application is accepted and the payment is made. Did I miss something?

It depends on whether or not the director is in charge of multiple programs. It is probably better to send your instructor an email rather than the program director. If your status still shows "Awaiting verification" after a few more days, then contact the program director or have the NREMT contact them to authorize you to test.
 
Thank you I will do that but my instructor is my program director, he's also an medic so I am trying to be patient. I haven't had a steady job (Temp work only) for three years. I'm a bit eager to start this new career. :)
