So, I did try searching for this, but I ended up with about 15 pages that hit on the word "uniform" and I couldn't figure out how to word the search without it.

Anyway, it's getting cooler, and we are allowed to wear long sleeve shirts under our uniforms. I'm trying to find a long sleeve, pure white, non turtle neck shirt to wear, and I'm not having much luck.

So here are my questions.

1. Does anyone know of a place (online) that sells uniform specific stuff? No one (Underarmor, Smartwool, etc) seems to have the style i'm looking for in white, so I was thinking a uniform specialty shop might.

2. What are peoples experiences in getting blood etc out of Under Armor? What about Smartwool?

3. Any other brand suggestions to look at?

I was going to say Underarmor. The have long sleeves that look like a normal teeshirt. As far as the blood issue, Keep a spray bottle of HP around. It will take out the blood stain completely!

Fruit of the loom from Walmart, men's t-shirt section. They come in three packs. They're by the underwear and the socks.

Three steps for you to follow:

1. Go to Wal-Mart/Taget or other store of choice and find a long sleeved Hanes or Fruit of the Loom t-shirt
2. Wear said shirt under uniform shirt.
3. Save lots of $.

hydrogen peroxide takes blood out of clothes nicely.

Target has a nice under-armor type knock off that I wear for my undershirts. I'm pretty sure they have long sleeve, I only buy the sleeve-less ones.

Great minds think alike, huh? :P

I thought of the cheap and easy route, but I'm worried they won't be warm enough for me. I've lost a lot of weight recently and I get cold SUPER easily. Which is why I'm looking at the more expensive thermal types.

Under Armor doesn't sell the t-shirt neck long sleeve in white! How stupid is that? They only have the turtle neck style in white. At least on their website, I don't know if there is another distributor that sells it or not.

I get cold very easily as well. Do you have a company jacket you can wear??

can you get the turtle neck and take it to a seamstress to get altered?

I do have a company jacket, but it doesn't fit and I can't order a new one for another 10 months or something like that, unless I pay full price for it, which is about $200.

Our union contract allows for 1 new jacket every 18 months, anything more often you have to pay for unless it is destroyed in the course of your duties.

Catch it in the ambulance door.. RIIIIIP.

Keep looking around, under armor sells much that isn't on their own website. I know people who use the white undershirts without the turtleneck from UA.

lol, Sasha.

That is essentially what I'm looking for, I just can't find the women's version in white. They don't have any from that site either. :(

Aidey, I wear the target knockoffs under a t-shirt when it's cold. When its colder, I wear a turtle under the tshirt as well....
