Hi, everyone! Sorry I have not been around in a while-I sure miss chatting with everyone! Just wanted to say that tonight is my paramedic final exam for term one. It is 40 ecg rythm strips (can only miss 4) and then a big written exam. I was more stressed about this yesterday, but something happened that made it a little easier. We took our practical exam finals, and on my static cardiology station, we were given 4 ecg strips to correctly diagnose, with a "patient" and their VS and S/S to go along with it. Each scenario had a 1.5 min time limit. At the end of the station, my instructor said "No one has executed this station flawlessly-- until you" WOW! Really?! I had been trying so hard, and struggling all the while, but now I think he knows I really want this! Remember just a few weeks ago the heartache I had when he told me I might not make it? It's not over yet, I have to pass the final with an 85%, so please, send good thoughts my way! I'll let you know....I just wanted to share my excitement and thank everyone for their encouragement. It means the world to me. Good Luck to EVERYONE during finals week. You can do it!!! Be safe everyone
