Looking at relocating to the Tampa area. Have been reading feverishly and have some idea of the local programs [ St Petersburg CC, Hillsborough CC, SFu etc] Would apreciate some input on +/_ of local schools for paramedic cert, and local employers [ 911/ ERs/ EDs preffered] for a part time , on call etc position while attending a program. Short term to be a GOOD medic, long term,... to get degree, flight, dive and international interests.
Exp...Not structure FF, but 13 yrs wildland and all risk, EMT-B x 3 states- NREMT-B x 11 yrs. Oh yeah, not a sping chicken@43, so feel free to weigh in on the local attitude towards that also! Thanks!
