Title Mess

Hi. Anyone know a "central" place to get info on state-by-state Intermediate/Paramedic titles and how they compare to National Registry standards? i.e. EMT-2/3/4 or EMT-IV as compared to NREMT-I or NREMT-P. Is there any "central repository" of info on this- or on state's reciprocity rules? Very confusing!

First of all, welcome to EMTLife.com.

I am not aware of an central location that you can get the information you are looking for short of going to each state's website and comparing them to the NREMT. The NREMT site does have a map that shows which state accepts it's certifications at each level, but not every state does.

What state are you from? Odds are, we have somebody here that can answer a specific question if you have one.
