HI! I had a quick question for you guys. I took an EMT-B class, passed it and my skills testing and have a profile set up all passed on nremt.org all I have to do is to pay for the test and take it. The problem is it is has been about 7 months (due to some very bad circumstances with family and life since then) but I have been reviewing like a mad man and feel confident to take the test. What is the length of time between the end of the class and when you can take the National Registry? I thought it was a year, but I may be wrong. THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP!

You get 2 years to take it, but on a side note if you dont take it withing the first year, you will have to also retake the practical.

Wow! Thanks for the quick reply! Yeah I couldn't remember how it worked and I knew something was weird with the one year rule, but I spent so long trying to find an answer on the net with no luck. Guess im going to go take the test soon then. Thanks Again!

re:

Okay so I just took my test a few days ago and did not pass  So know does my situation change because I took it? My profile of completion will be at its one year date this week. So if I retake the registry in 15 days, would I have to do the skills all over again because my year will be up this week?
