LAKEWOOD RANCH - Three people are hurt, including two paramedics, after an ambulance and a pick-up truck collide at the intersection of S.R. 70 and Lorraine Road.
Troopers are calling it a worst case scenario.
Manatee County Emergency Management Captain Larry Leinhauser says responding to an crash that involves his co-workers is tough. "It's very upsetting and it's very disturbing, it's very difficult to work on your own when something like this happens. It's very trying on everybody involved," says Leinhauser.
