Im getting ready to take a test to get into an ambulance company. I really don't know what to expect from the test. Well, I really don't know what I should be studying for. This company does provide BLS IFT, 911, and ACLS IFT. Does anybody know what I should be focousing my studying on??

Having been here for over five years, it seems that you can expect a test similar to your certification test.

Whatever NREMT tests on probably but that's not a sure thing. I've taken service tests that were 10x harder than NR, and I've gotten jobs just by walking in the door before.

Thanks for your reply. I probably should brush up on my skills as well. I heard that AMR makes you run through a trauma assesment or strapping a manniquen to a backboard as well as taking a written service test. This company also has 911 contracts in Orange county, so I would assume that they whould be somewhat the same in expectation of their possible emplyees. I appriciate your responses thanks.

I'm currently looking for EMT B jobs in SoCal. What company are you taking a test for?

Emergency Ambulance. i passed the test and it wasnt that hard at all!! One company you shouldn't work for is Premier Medical Transport. You won't do ANY EMT work at all. You barley drive in an ambulance at all. But, there Always hiring if u need a job.
