The end of "Nightwatch"?

A&E says season 3 is coming, according to reports, it might not be in New Orleans...

If this is true, it'll be a shame. The editing is a bit sensational and at times the medicine can be a bit sketchy, but Nightwatch has really done a decent job of showcasing paramedics. I'm not a fanboy, but I watch.

Mistakes can happen so I am not trying to second guess here but I really felt bad for the guy who tried (very unsuccessfully) to cardiovert a septic patient who was at 180. When I screw up I prefer to do it in front of my partner, not on cable television.

The same guy that was explaining, while treating a chest pain, that nitro was originally "a sex drug". WTF? Season 2, Episode 2.
I'm hoping that was unfortunate editing.

I was never particularly stricken by the competence of NOLA EMS. Their system looks poopy, their always-emergent thing is silly, and their chosen medics were frustratingly bad at both medicine and confidence. I can safely say that I would not work well with Holly, in particular- she seems like a living embodiment of everything in paramedicine that I don't like.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.
