I just recertified with Texas and they never asked to see my proof of retesting or CE hours. Anyone know if it is just an honor system or something or will need to produce these things? The website already states I am good until 2019.

Just have documentation ready if he state wants to audit you. If you don't have proof of the required education or whatever you need. Could be very bad for you. But sounds like your good to go!

It's all honor system unless they choose to audit you.

They care about an up-to-date ACLS and NREMT.

I bet it would depend on which route you took. I think there are 3, being NREMT, CEs, or exam (NREMT). CEs would mean you need to keep all of that proof for a few years, while just keeping your NREMT up (the easiest route, if you ask me) is proven with your NR number. At that point you then just have to focus on your NR CEs, and you still have that extra line on your resume.
