Go figure that I'd hear of this in my A&P lecture and not in my medic school lecture... But I came across it and thought it was kind of interesting. Anyone have some good links related to it and other similar problems? Or possibly some "war stories" in dealing with patients (I'm guessing infants) that had this?

Yes. I was the only one on my CCT truck including our nurse who knew what it was one we got a page for picking up a baby with an acute episode of hypoxia secondary to Tetralogy of Fallot. It was fresh in my mind after an A&P lecture as well. It ended up being quite serious and the baby was transported to UCLA Mattel Children's hospital and we were met by a team of residents in the PICU.
