Third time, the first time I bombed it but felt good about it, the second time I took it I thought I bombed it but did a lot better. I got done with class last November, I have been reading my books a lot and I now have experience on a paid fire dept as a EMT-B but look at doing everything as a Paramedic would. I feel like I am ready for this I just need to brush up on my Drug Calc's and a few formulas like the Parkland. Any other advice? I think I might be reading into the questions to much because I know my stuff I feel.

I can't really give you any pointer's because I'm still in P school, but using the general strategy of process of elimination may help a great deal. Chances are you can probably narrow every question down to two answers that are pretty close in meaning, but with a slight difference in wording.

Read every word of those two answers CAREFULLY.. and focus on what makes them different from eachother. Then go back and read the question. Take a second, breathe, and select your answer...Just a few tips that have helped me in multiple choice tests in general.

I've also "HeaRd" that you should take it as a Basic..just stick to the a,b,c's (or is it c,a,b now??? haha jk back to the books for me)

Good luck to you... I'm sure you'll get the P soon enough
