Tacoma Community College Paramedic cert

Hi all,

Would love to have more information on what a typical life looks like when going through the Paramedic program through there?

I see for the 1st quarter it is 22 credits, when I look at what that looks like 'semester' hours 14-15 ish. Trying to figure out if those of you who have been in the program if it was like a full time job or were you able to maintain employment?

I went through TCC 7 years ago. It was very busy. Most people, if they still worked, picked up a random shift here or there. The Fire guys traded shifts to make it work. The private ambulance guys either took time off or went to part time. There were three or 4 full days a of class and lab each week, plus hospital and medic unit ride time. There is not a lot of free time, but I never found it unmanageable.
