"Stupid" pt/bystander/first responder tricks all rolled into one

Nurses yelling at you to clear a tiny hallway while you're trying to get an orthostatic Pt off the floor and onto the stretcher. Or a nurse at the same practice yelling at you to clear out of the waiting room (without backboard, spinal precautions, etc) with a Pt who ended up having both T12 and L1 fractured? Yeah...

Nurses in a nursing home placing a patient with diff. breathing on O2 via NRB at 4LPM because their machines don't go any higher and then reporting to us that they placed her on oxygen but she's quickly getting worse.

Oh how I've seen this happen multiple times...I remember one time the NH we go to most had a diabetic who was responsive to painful stimuli on 4 LPM by a simple face mask. Their glucose machine read "LO", and they gave the patient "one round" of oral glucose.

Is that not standard to hold C-spine when collar is on, i always found you stuff have potential to move when collared with most brands.

We had one a while back then had a plate extend down past the Cspine about 1/2 way down the thorasic spine. Now that stopped all movement but was slightly harder to put on.
