Stuck on the wall

I usually read a good book and catch up on reading protocols.
 
I just can't imagine having to wait like that for a bed. I don't think I have ever waited more than 15-20 minutes for a bed, and maybe another 10-15 after that for a nurse to give report to. I know Indy isn't a huge city, but it isn't that small either.
 
17 million people in the greater los angeles area and 80 licensed ERs, some days it feels as though they are all calling 911.
