staying alert in class

During medic school, especially during pharmacology lectures, I really struggled to stay focused. To stay active I furiously tried to scribble down the entire lecture, verbatim. I could never write fast enough, but trying to keep up was enough stimulation to keep me awake.

Or you could freebase crack. :D
