What in the world do you have to write a paper on?

Congrats firecoins! Things are winding down for me as well. Monday I have oral boards with the medical director. We have a couple class sessions for comprehensive review, and then our class final is Aug. 11. I have PHTLS at the end of Aug and then NR practical is scheduled for Sept. 6.

I have spent a few shifts in the ER while the medical director was working, but I still can't help but feel nervous about having to sit down wiht him on Monday. Everyone keeps telling me I am going to do fine and I really do know the material we have been taught, but I just feel like I am completely not prepared. Passing NR doesn't mean squat if the medical director won't allow me to affiliate.

Epi,

Take a deep breath and relax. It will all come into perspective, when you need.

When you are sitting in front of the MD and you are feeling nervous, just think of him naked!!!!

Congratulations firs\ecoins on your final.^_^

I don't know which MD will be doing the boards. I probably will not know the MD testing me. However after several ER rotations alongside MDs I fave lost the nervousness.
