Hey guys/gals,

I'm working on my NR...just failed the first round but it's a long story.

You know what I would love to see...would be some flash cards with signs and symptoms on one side and diagnosis on the other. Does anything exist?

I suppose I could make my own for the top 10 things I would see in the field...but if something is done already.

Thanks

They will exist just as soon as you are finished creating them.

Creating them is the most important part of the learning process. You would not get nearly the educational benefit out of reading someone else's cards.

Take this simple advice.

Make your own cards! You will learn more by researching the questions and answers, then you will ever learn by just reading the cards!

Just a point. NREMT questions are not based upon that type of knowledge base. They are usually scenario based.

Good luck on your test.

You should make your own. You learn better that way. I learned the drugs by writing and studying the flash cards, then rewrite those flash cards (as much as I could from memory, using my already made ones to fill in gaps) studied those, and then rewrote them again 'til I could pretty much write the cards from memory. Use this method for your s/s and dx cards! It made it click after purely just studying cards did not work.

Good luck!

Yeah, do those but buddy up with a classmate!

And pick one who is smarter than you are. Worked for me in nursing school!;)
