I have an interview tomorrow and have read through the previous threads already.

Can anyone give me any advice on the interview/testing process? I'm not sure if there's going to be a testing process, because they didn't mention it in my email.

2 1/2 months later? wow that took a long time for you to get that job.

I've been with pacific ambulance as a transporter since late november. Time to move towards doing some Ricky rescue stuff lmao

Yup but CARE wouldnt allow me to test again for another 6 months and Shoreline was the first to call back

I have an interview at Care in a couple days. Did you not pass the test or something? What was on it?

I had applied with them back in November but when they finally got back to me, I was already employed. So since I technically turned down an invitation to test, I am not allowed to test again for another 6 months. I heard the process invokes a written, skills, essay, and oral interview in one day. Don't forget all of the paperwork including H6!

Huntington Beach and Newport call private ambulance companies when they don't have any units available. They don't have any contracts with companies but try to call the closest available. I know Schaefer and Pacific do the same thing, but rarely. It's not a common occurrence.

Does shoreline ever run code 3 during calls? Never seen them actually have their lights on

I'm not sure how that works. I know they're in-house in Westminster, but may respond code 2 to calls. In OC you only transport code 3 if the patient is critical.
