This lady lives in a decommissioned ambulance. I thought you all might be interested in seeing how lovely she has made it.

I like the carpet, very tasteful

Where do you find these people!? LOL

I like it

I think its actually a pretty cool concept. A little out there? Yes. But she got my attention with the idea. At least enough to follow her blog.

I have toyed with the idea before. generally while restraining myself from climbing the cabnets with boredom . still have the floor plan in a school note book somewhere. its ok, I know Iam kinda loony.

When we decommisioned our 1981 Dodge we converted it to a camper van and spent many miles touring the continent.

I love the tiny house blog, can't wait to see what she does with Lance.

I know a couple ski bums who drool over our Sprinters... apparently they make the ULTIMATE ski bum conversion van to live in at the base lodge parking lot. but a tad spendy....

So what, so do I for at least 36 hours a week.

I hate vacuuming. I'd never install carpet.

Granite floors. Make it fancy schmancy

But granite can be slippery if it gets wet.

I wouldn't do it myself (well, at least not any more than I already do...) but this is officially awesome. The only thing that would bother me would be the lack of plumbing.

even here in the rural midwest, there is a 24/7 fitness center or its equal in any mid sized towns, much of the small towns as well. All have showers and restrooms for customers.

Once worked out a scheme for three staff to live out of a converted modular

...for three days, solely supported out of it. Like living in an Apollo command module. And no Houston to call.
