:unsure:Special Event Medical Services has been ongoing since before the 70's even before Rock Med and beyond. From filming locations (up to 100's of extras{Thor} at a time to small budget production to Television) to the Olympics and Xtreme sports, horse races/shows, auto and MX races including boats, ALL SPORTS, just almost any public event that over taxes resources and can be beyond MCI's and may be in inaccessible locations or remote from any med facility that may require Air and Ground Transportation and Med Tents or just first aid tents. Crowd control is usually involved. Preparing and setting and staging for these events can require more prep work than previously thought. Even when more attendance not just from a popular over run concert to a spectacular event to even the President attending. I have worked most all of these and NOW a new AAOS Text Book from B&J has evolved. This is up to date with new photos and two experienced authors. This course can be quite helpful in preparing from small events to large. Even lists are provided and past scenarios. What is your thoughts about this being a course that would include CME/CEU's ? for EMS???

That just confused the heck out of me?

Are you asking if a course that teaches people how to do special events would be useful? If so then yea I would probably take it.

Or are you asking if a text book would be useful? Then my answer would be no.
