Seems very hard but I'm looking for salaried EMS positions in NJ around the Kearny, Jersey City, Newark, Hoboken area & the majority of listings I found online are mostly for volunteer agencies. So far I just applied for Linden EMS & Life Streams Transport. I did a post regarding this a few months ago & got some answers but some of them that I looked up needed previous EMS experience. Would love to get into a hospital based EMS system but same deal, needs previous EMS experience. I looked up Jersey City Medical Center, University Medical Center & Hackensack Medical Center & either the same deal or they had no positions open online.
Are there any other hospitals in the area I can look into?
Any other salaried agencies I can check out as well?
I'm not familiar w/NJ so any help would be greatly appreciated.
FYI, I also inquired about a few Fire Departments but Kearny's FD isn't accepting applications until 2012 & Newark FD needs you to be a resident of Newark or is that requirement to be a resident of that particular town just BS.
