Just figured I'd drop a line and say hi...been lurking (non-member) for a few months now, figured I'd register to drop the ads. Newly minted emt-b, working now for Indianapolis. Brand new to the EMS world, spent 14 years in the military, got out, couldn't figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up and since I'm past the cutoff age for fire and police, decided the next best thing was EMS.
As of now, I have zero desire or intentions to go the paramedic route, but I figure IF I change my mind, I'll wait four or five years so I have the fundamentals down solid before I try and learn all the ALS skills.
Anyway, figured I'd drop a line and say hi.
