Retaking the NREMT

Hello folks.
A few months ago I got my certification, and passed the written exam with an 80%. I looked on the forums here, but did not find the answer to my question (Then again, my forum searching skills aren't exactly legendary) and I was wondering, is it possible to retake the NREMT if you've passed it? For example, a place I was looking at that's hiring EMTs requires an 82% for employment, and I wonder if it is possible to try and better your score. Thank you in advance :)

The NREMT? Or a specific state's exam? The NREMT doesn't give out grades, only Pass/Fail... :unsure:
 
Pardon me, the state specific written exam. I am in NYC. NOT the NREMT.
