Hey guys! Been watching the forum for awhile and finally had to join. Looks like a great source of information.

I have a question. I am a EMT in a very small volunteer service. We are looking at a rescue randy type training dummy for our fire department and ambulance to use for extrication and fire rescue. Does anybody have any recommendations or experience in what to get or not get.

Thanks,

Matt

I can try and find out what specific brand we use. We've got probably 10 of those damn things not including all the high fidelity mannequins.

What's your budget? They aren't cheap, that's for sure.

Yes I have seen the prices of these and that's not the issue. We are just looking for a coverall for the ambulance and fire department to use.

Basically wondering what different benefits people have noticed with different brands like weight, flexibility, size ect. We had some volunteer firefighters actually asking for training equipment so naturally we all jumped up and are trying to find the best for fire and ambulance

Ill see if I can find out which ones ours are. They work pretty well although many are beaten to hell from all the different EMT, Paramedic, Tactical and other classes we put on. With that said they're all still, mostly, in one piece.
