Recprocity in Florida

I maybe relocating to Florida. I am a NREMT-B. I remember a few years ago that to transfer to FL as a NREMT, I would have to be a NREMT and take a written test. Is that the current process?

A co-worker of mine moved to FL and he had his NREMT-B. Despite the fact that FL uses the NREMT written exam as our state certification, he still had to retake the NREMT written exam portion and pay all the associated fees. I know he had to pay for the actual test and possibly a small fee to the state.
