Hi, I took a Emt course in Illinois, and I am taking the NREMT-B test in 2 weeks. I was wondering what do I have to do . to be able to work in Indiana? I have looked and I am not so sure. Thanks.

If Illinois is a NR state then you will just have to apply for reciprocity. Very easy process, just contact the Illinois Office Of EMS and they will be able to give you all of the asnwers you seek.

As an inbetweener of Iowa and Indiana, going from Iowa to Indiana with my national I just needed to fill out a piece of paper and submit it to the state EMS office. Keep in mind for Indiana, to hold a cert, you must be employed and/or have a sponsoring hospital. The reciprocity paperwork requires a med. director signature. Any current Hoosiers, feel free to fill anything I may have missed.
