A coworker here in Utah is convinced that 10 codes and patient codes are the way to go.
problem is they are NOT standard: Here 10-85 Echo is a fatality. In Indiana where I used to work, if we used 10 codes, a fatality was a 10-0.
Easier to tell dispatch "we need the police and a ME" or call them on the phone
