I passed the NREMT last week and was looking at the form for the MS license and it requires a copy of a "Jurisdictional Medical Control Agreement" so I am assuming to obtain the license to practice in MS I need to go ahead and apply for a job with an agency. Is that correct or am I looking at this the wrong way?

Yes that is correct. Medical control is obtained by the employer. You'll take or mail it and your National Registry to the MS Dept of Health in Jackson and they will issue you a state license.
