Okay so I have a bunch of ces but im wondering how to get some of the certificates I have converted into ce sheets. I don't actually know what they are called but for example I have ics 100 and ics 200 certificates from fema that I turned into my previous employer for these maybe 4"x5" papers with all my emt information, employer and 3 or 4 ce units. But I also have ice 700 and feet-1101 that are worth a lot of units and I don't know how or where to go to get the small sheets for them with all the credits and information. Sorry if this is confusing. Thanks for any help though

Contacting the regional EMS council or similar governing body is ideally the place to start. If you have certificates from the programs you can submit them and they'll give you the credit if they count. However, the courses has to have been taken within the con-ed time line for your certain certification and meet requirements for con-ed in your area.

Okay so I don't know if it matters, I should have said this is going towards my nremt if that makes a difference. My recert is coming up and im taking a refresher for that. So I have my emt through ICEMA but I guess were going to a state standard thing soon here in california. Would they be the ones I need to talk to?

Can't help you for sure there, just took my NREMT today...I would say just contact them.

ICEMA, Inland Counties Emergency Medical Agency I presume?

For NREMT recertification you fill out a form where you list the CE title, type of CE (lecture, distance, course, etc), agency providing it, and number of hours. If you get audited, then you send in the certificates.

For your state license (which are administered through he Local EMS Agencies like ICEMA), there should be a form to fill out through the agency. While I'm not sure what ICEMA's renewal requirments are, when I renewed my license in OC 4 years ago the requirement was 24 hours of CME and a skills sheet checkoff.
