Progressive EMS and Fire service around Dallas Fort Worth

So I am looking to relocate to within an 1 or 2 hrs of Dallas Fort Worth area, I was wondering if there are any progressive EMS services that are also Fire (Fire department with great EMS service). For example one week you ride on the box and next week your working with a crew on the engine. Any help would be awesome Im looking to get my wife closer to her family.
Little background on myself Paramedic of 4 years at busy progressive service, and currently working as flight medic for air medical service.
 
Midlothian FD is a really good one. Their MD is yamada who is also PHI's.

Plano, allen, mckinney, mansfield, and frisco all have good reputations.
 
Try looking at third service EMS if you want to work in a "progressive EMS" system.
 
Really looking for the duel role service due to Fire departments having retirement and better pay. TXmed Plano and Frisco are currently not hiring, I looked at Midlothian and they look like a good department. Think it said they respond to 3K calls yearly. Thank you for the help. If you know of anymore just let me know, Im starting to look around to get my fire cert.
 
There are good pay and retirement for third service systems too, such as wilco, atcems, galveston, mchd ems, etc. I have good benes, good retirement, and quite decent pay
 
I work for a third service that has a higher starting pay than most local departments and has a TCDRS matching rate that is also higher. Not all third service EMS get paid poorly.
 
I did not mean to imply that third service systems are paid poorly prior to flight I worked for one, I am more interested in a Fire Department just because after 4 years in EMS I have an interest in becoming FF. However I truly care about patients and would like to know(progressive system/good patient care) that a department does the best they can. Really find recuse and extrication interesting and want to move my career in that direction and move my family towards the DFW or surrounding areas as my extended family lives there.
