I want to start off by first saying that I am an EMT-B and in Jan i will be starting my medic, thank god after 6 years I grew the ****s to do it lol. Just needed some time to get the basics down ;-)
Ok, as headlined, live in Ohio and well I have points on DL. Back in 09 i had swirved a lane while merging onto a highway and well caught me a physical control and disrgard of safety. That being said it lit rendered my a useless EMT that was not insurable. I have to say that was prob the worst and best thing to happen to me. I am extremely humbled now and my mistake will forever stay implanted in the computer and will also be a learning tool for thoughs who think bad things cant happen to good ppl. they do! I chose to stand up, man up and keep pressing on and not giving up my card and keep trying to get employed.
After 3 years i am clear of that incident and the points are gone leaving only but 2. To some this is bad but to me this is a sign of things looking up (brighter) and I can honestly say, again that I am extremely humble and when I hear ppl complain about taking trips I think, if you only had lost it like I did you wouldnt complain about ***T.
I just want some respectful and honest advise for my interview on tues and a general idea of what im looking in a hireable sense. I would like to add that I was up front about it as I always am and asked the recruiter and she said they only go back 3 years and that I am insuarable. Who knows!!
