I recently passed my Medic program and will be starting my clincials shortly. I'm looking for a pocket book that will comfortably fit in EMS pants, throw me some recommendations.

Vera Wang, Coach, you will certainly be able to afford one now.

None.

At this point you should know most of your stuff anyhow. The only things that a pocket guide can help with are Spanish and a home med list.

However, I don't care about speaking Spanish, and after a while you learn which drugs are used for what, or you can just use your phone to look it up.

I will second the Informed EMS Field Guide ALS Version

Unlike some of us who didn't come out of medic school with a chip on our shoulders and think we know everything, this book is very helpful in the field. I use it on a daily basis and so do many of the medics I work with who have been in the field from 2-30 years. It is okay to look things up and know for sure than to not know what you don't know and guess.
