I took PHTLS today for the first time (I'm a medic student). I was curious to know if any others had similar/different experiences. In our final practical assessment exam, we had one "team member" to be used at your discretion.That team member could not make any pt. care suggestions or txs, etc. You directed the whole assessment/treatment/transport decisions yourself. I was curious if this was the way all PHTLS was done, or if our medic program did it a little different??
