I used to keep a diary of sorts. Mostly a photo diary, I used it quite extensively while doing EMT-B and EMT-I training. I found the visual impact it has on the students give them a "wake up call" to what they are going to face when they work on the road. Then I moved into a management position and sadly I am now no longer seeing much of those calls no more.
